Incredible service - the best I’ve had in Amsterdam for a long time! A lovely little oasis of a place that makes you feel you’re not right in the city. The pasta was beautifully presented and delicious. Had a great dessert too. We left really full and happy.

I found this place on instagram and decided to go! Even though I saw some negative reviews, I thought I’d try myself this pasta that looked sooo good on the pictures. And rightfully so! We tried the pasta in a cheese head with truffle it was really tasty and very nice portion! The waiters were sweet and nice to us (again, I’m surprised to read different reviews). We also shared tiramisu and it was so delicious! Also the way it is served is beautiful. Next time I’ll take full portion for myself :)

Since the restaurant is situated in the hotel so you feel like it’s quite private and peaceful (as it’s next to cemetery). We just park our car in the parking space and it was quite empty. We ordered appetizer, mains and dessert. The first main I ordered, after a while, then they informed that their ingredients ran out. They suggested another alternative choice and I’ve just accepted it. All dish came out with good presentation. The taste is fine but I think with price they offer, it could be more tasteful especially sauce. My husband enjoyed their lasagna so I give more score on this. The dessert is good. There are very few tables when we arrive. The service is quite slow despite only a few tables. The staffs are nice and polite.

What an unforgettable experience was to have dinner by Nando Bistro. We are Italian, living in Amsterdam and therefore often hypercritical towards places that offer Italian menus. But by Nando we found such a perfect match between quality of food, creativity, authenticity and relaxing ambience. Also a fantastic wine's choice. And such a nice staff.
